My alma mater is the United States Marine Corps.  My beloved Corps took me in as a young man, educated, clothed, fed, and sharpened my patriotic spirit and improved upon the man my parents raised.  I learned what it is to be a leader, a professional soldier, a cop, and a true patriot from some of the finest Americans ever to serve their country.  I cherish that eternal fraternal bond with all those who have earned the title of United States Marine and those who have served our country in our armed services. 

I have 5+ years of college education via Excelsior College in New York which I achieved  in a nontraditional college environment while working full time as a U.S. Marine. 

While my education may not have been the protected luxurious laid back campus lifestyle of most collegians, I am proud to have scratched out an education under some of the most difficult of circumstances, while serving my country, and in the fashion of my favorite Republican... President Abraham Lincoln.
